Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent institution.
The graduation qualification must have been obtained between 01 January 2023 and 01 September 2026.

Age relaxation is applicable to eligible categories as mentioned in the official notification.
State-wise Application
A candidate can opt for apprenticeship training seats in only one State.
Candidates can give district preferences within the selected State. However, final allotment will depend on the availability of seats and the requirement of the Bank.

Selection Process
- State-wise merit list will be prepared.
- Merit will be based on marks/percentage obtained in 12th Standard (HSC/10+2) or Diploma.
- In case of a tie, the older candidate will be given preference.
- Document Verification will be conducted.
- Local language test will be conducted wherever applicable.
- Final engagement will be subject to eligibility verification, language qualification and medical fitness.
General candidates – 60%
SC/ST/PwBD candidates – 55%
Local Language Test
For Rajasthan, the specified local language is Hindi.
Candidates whose 10th or 12th marksheet shows the required local language will not be required to appear for the language test. Candidates who do not have the required language mentioned in their marksheet may have to appear for the language test during document verification.

How to Apply
- First register on the NATS portal: nats.education.gov.in
- Complete your NATS profile up to 100%.
- Keep your NATS Enrollment ID ready.
- Visit the official Canara Bank website.
- Go to Careers → Recruitment.
- Open the Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 notification.
- Click on the Apply Online option.
- Enter your personal and educational details carefully.
- Select the State in which you want to undergo apprenticeship training.
- Upload your photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.
- Pay the applicable application fee online.
- Submit the application form.
- After submission, save and print the application form and e-receipt for future reference.

Apprenticeship Period
The apprenticeship training period will be 12 months.
Training will be provided at selected branches/locations on an on-the-job training basis.
Leave
An apprentice is eligible for one casual leave per month after completion of one month of apprenticeship, subject to the conditions mentioned in the notification.
Important Conditions
- A candidate who has already completed apprenticeship with Canara Bank or another organization is not eligible.
- Candidates currently undergoing apprenticeship are not eligible.
- Candidates having one or more years of job/training experience after the required educational qualification are not eligible.
- Medical fitness is required.
- The apprentice will not be treated as a regular employee of Canara Bank.
- There is no obligation on Canara Bank to provide regular employment after completion of the apprenticeship.
- False or incomplete information may result in cancellation of the application/engagement.
